The cemented toe joint prosthesis is indicated for the first metatarsophalangeal joint, consisting of three components: metatarsal component, metatarsal head and phalanx base. The metatarsal component is made of titanium alloy, the metatarsal head of cobalt-chromium-molybdenum alloy, and the phalanx base of titanium alloy and ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene. All components are available in three sizes (S, M, L) and are interchangeable.
Scope of Application
The cemented toe joint prosthesis is indicated for reconstruction of the first metatarsophalangeal joint.
Product Features
★ The toe joint prosthesis can achieve an optimal joint replacement outcome by interchanging metatarsal heads of varying heights and combining them with metatarsal components and phalanx bases of different lengths and diameters to accommodate a wide range of metatarsophalangeal joint lengths and medullary cavity diameters.
Product Advantages
• The unconstrained spherical articular surface design allows for full restoration of the physiological flexion and dorsiflexion range of motion of the metatarsophalangeal joint after replacement.
• The sesamoid-preserving prosthesis design can reduce the stress on the prosthesis inside the human body when properly implanted, lowering the risk of prosthetic shear fracture caused by weight-bearing.
